Gopher Barrier - Knowledgebase Question

I've dug down about 10 t0 12 inches in the soil, laid down chicken wire, and covered with soil. Do you think this will keep gophers out?

It will certainly help! I'm assuming that you've built a sort of "cage" so that the roots of your plants will be protected. Make sure the seams at the corners of the cage are bound tightly together, so that no gap exists. You should also have an above-ground fence to keep them from traveling over the surface to burrow in the enclosure. Best of luck to you!
