| I've had a Venus Flytrap that's done quite well for 4 years. This summer, new traps were emerging, but have failed to mature, and remain quite small. The foliage is less green than in the past. It gets full sun, and adequate humidity. What's wrong? |
| If you've kept your Venus flytrap alive for 4 years, you deserve a hearty round of applause! Most flytraps are tossed out within a year! If you haven't repotted your plant since you acquired it, the roots may be overcrowded. Wait until the normal dormant season and repot, using fresh potting mix and a slighly deeper pot. Venus flytraps have a long root system and need some room to wiggle their toes. Hope you have continued success with your Venus flytrap! |
