I have lavandula augustifolia in full sun; I water it well but it only has 3 flowers on it. I've had it for about 2 months and it's not blooming. What am I doing wrong??

You may not be doing anything wrong. Is it possible it bloomed before you bought it? This plant normally blooms for a few weeks in May or June and is sheared back to encourage a second flush of blooms later in the summer. If your plant was forced into early an growth cycle before you bought it, it is possible this is the second blooming of the season. The second blooming is usually less showy than the first and in this case would be even weaker since the plant had to expend a lot of energy becoming established in its new location. If this is the plant's first blooming, it may be less than normal due to transplant stress or because the plant is stillsmall and immature; it should bloom normally next year when it is established.
