I have planted 3 canteloupe plants in my garden.
They have all multiplied rapidily and I have hundreds of blooms, but no visible fruit yet.
How many vines should I leave on each plant? Should I cut them back now? I used Miracle-gro and they have spread to an area of approx. 15'X20'. How do I thin them out?

Wow! Sounds like your melon plants are very prolific! As soon as each vine develops 2-3 fruit, pinch back the tip of the vine. This will stop further vine growth and help the plant put more of its energy into ripening the fruits rather than growing more vine. Don't pinch them back until they've begun to develop fruit, though, or they may never do so. Hope you have a bountiful harvest!
