I planted your Bush Limas (Fordhook 242) this spring and they are doing fantastic! My problem is when to pick them? I have never grown fresh limas!

Beans are usually ready to harvest about two weeks after bloom. Fordhook bush limas will produce 4" pods, so harvest yours when the pods are full size and the beans are still flat. If they begin to bulge and you can see or feel them through the pod, they are overmature.
