| "Mother-in-law's tongue" and/or "dragon plant"...Do these common names refer to sanseveria or aspidistra? I think I have confused the two. One of them always appears in old cleaner/taylor's shops and I'm not sure which. Are aspidistras like "peace" plants? I have been unable to find pictures or either. Would you have a drawing or picture of each and information on their common names? I have been thinking about this niggling problem(for me) for a Number of Years! Thank you for "being there". |
| Sansevieria triffasciata laurentii is Mother-in-Law's Tongue, a tough plant with thick, upright leaves. Dragon Plant is Dracaena draco, also with tough, sword shaped leaves, but the foliage arches downward. Aspidistra is also known as Cast Iron Plant.
