We live in the mountains at 5200 ft elevation. We wanted to plant blackberries but not the right zone, how about black raspberrys? If so could you give me some favorite varieties you like?

Black raspberry cultivars that are really winter hardy include 'Bristol' and 'Jewel', but they do best where temperatures don't drop much below -20F. An even hardier, but less tasty, cultivar is 'Black Hawk'. So, if you can find a protected spot, any of the above will grow for you.
