What flower compliments a juniper shrub? We have a juniper shrub in front of our house and it's just plain boring. It is on our front driveway and is square shaped.

Junipers are certainly utilitarian, but you're right, they can be downright boring! To compliment the gray-green foliage of the juniper, I'd choose a bright orange, pink or lavender blooming plant. If you want dull-green leaves (to help make the transition easier on the eyes), plant lamium. If you're looking for glossy-green leaves, how about Pittosporum? Heather, lavender and ornamental grasses such as Blue Fescue can give you a textural difference, as well as seasonal color.
