What flower compliments a juniper shrub? We have a juniper shrub in front of our house and it's just plain boring. It is on our front driveway and is square shaped. |
Junipers are certainly utilitarian, but you're right, they can be downright boring! To compliment the gray-green foliage of the juniper, I'd choose a bright orange, pink or lavender blooming plant. If you want dull-green leaves (to help make the transition easier on the eyes), plant lamium. If you're looking for glossy-green leaves, how about Pittosporum? Heather, lavender and ornamental grasses such as Blue Fescue can give you a textural difference, as well as seasonal color. |
