| Brugmansia is a blooming tropical plant that can grow to shrublike proportions. It makes wonderful huge trumpet-like blooms. It is generally grown as a conainer plant so it can be brought indoors for the winter and it makes a fabulous conservatory subject if you have a greenhouse or other very (large) bright spot to keep it in. It does well in bright light, rich, moist soil and prefers warm temperatures. When pressed for space, some gardeners root cuttings from the mature plants each fall, dispose of the mature plants and winter just the smaller new plants. |
