The Q&A Archives: Growing Flowers for a Summer Wedding

Question: Can you give me some ideas on growing flowers for a summer wedding if I start them inside? I am looking for small pink or white flowers that I could grow easily and then use on pew bows. Gayle Wilson Plattsburgh, NY

Answer: Try asters (callistephus chinensis) or Centaurea americana. They are easy to grow and should be in full bloom by wedding time. Look on page 24 of the Burpee catalog for seeds.
