I ws working (wiring) my Crown of Thorns, and accidently cut into a branch. How can I seal the branch, so that growth will continue and the upper part will not die?

Although there may be no hope, you can try to splint it and see if the pieces will grow themselves back together. Match the ends as closely as possible (like mending broken china) and brace them together as best you can -- perhaps you can use the wire to support the top part. If you have grafting wax, seal the cut with that, otherwise you might try tape of some sort. Allow it to heal until the top seems to be growing well, then remove the wax or tape. It occurs to me that the ends may have calloused over by now; if this is the case, you will need to make a fresh cut on each surface in order to expose the vascular system. Be very careful working with this plant because many people find the sap irritates their skin terribly.
