I have worked at a greenhouse for three years.
We plant ivy geraniums in 10 in. baskets. What is the proper way to plant so the geranium won"t grow across the basket and will grow over and down the side of the basket?

In my experience setting several bushy cuttings angled outward seemed to work just fine; perhaps the variety you are using is less of a trailer than some or perhaps they need to be pinched to encourage lots of growth tips to make them look full.
