We live in zone 4, which actually borders on zone 5; when and what do I do to prepare my Pink Delight Butterfly Bush (buddleia davidii 'pink delight') for winter?

The soft wood of your Buddleia will freeze down to the ground in the winter. Cut the dead stems and branches down in late winter or early spring and new stems will develop when the weather warms. Buddleia blooms on new wood so your plant should put on a spectacular show each summer.
