We pruned our concord grapevine too late in the spring. It bled extensively, and although we have beautiful vines and leaves, there hasn't been any fruit. Have we permanently affected our vines, or will fruit be back next year? |
Concord grapevines are very tough plants so I am sure you haven't harmed it permanently especially since the vine is growing well. The best time to prune is in late winter before any growth begins. Good luck with your crop in 2000! |
