The Q&A Archives: Aspen Trees

Question: Could you tell me if Aspen Trees will grow in New Jersey?

Answer: The various aspens are types of poplar, and many poplars are found in and can be grown in New Jersey. The famous "Quaking Aspen" (Populus tremuloides) is found across a wide area and may possibly be found wild in New Jersey although it would be less likely in the warmer areas of the state.
