I also have a White Ginger plant that was brought back for me from Hawaii. It is growing from seed, what kind of plant is it and how should I care for it?

Gingers come from the large family of tropical herbs. This
beautiful ginger is white in color with lush green leaves. It will bloom from spring to late fall. White Gingers have a sweet aromatic fragrance.

Plant in a container with good drainage and keep the soil moist. Fertilize with a general garden fertilizer about once a month. The White Ginger does best in warm daytime temperatures, and a minimum of 50F degrees at night. Provide bright light with some direct sunlight if possible.
