| Easter Cactus is one of those forest cacti that has very specific requirements for growth and bloom. If the leaves are wilting, I'd suspect overwatering and the beginning of root rot. Cut away the wilted plant parts and correct the frequency with which you water your plant. Here are some guidelines to help keep your Rhipsalidopsis happy: October - January, resting period. Decrease watering and temperature (keep at 50F-55F). February - March, pre-flowering period. Keep dryish and cool until flower buds form, then increase water and temperature. April - May, flowering period. Water normally, maintain a minimum temperature of 60F. June - August, outdoors. Place in a shady spot. Hope the above helps your plant regain its health! |
