We are a non profit community group working on a town owned 26 acre parcel of land that borders the Merrimack River front. Part of this property is heavily wooded and home to many critters, such as beavers, wood chucks, moles, ground hogs, rabbits etc. Are there any flowers, plants (bulb or seed started) or shrubs that these critters won't eat up on us, we especially are looking for plants that multiply and can survive without much care. |
localized information and assistance not only about the plants but with naturalists too. Some places to start would be with local wildflower specialists such as Garden in the Woods in Framingham and with your local UMAss Extension office.
