The Q&A Archives: Bulbs to Plant in Spring

Question: I want to know which bulbs should be planted in my zone and when should they be planted ? Gitanjali Paithane Beaverton, OR

Answer: You're late to plant spring flowering bulbs such as daffodils and tulips for this year, however, you can plant summer flowering bulbs such as dahlias, gladiolus and lilies in April or May, once the ground dries out, and still have them flower this summer. Plant the tulips and daffodils this fall for next spring flowering.
