| I'd like to try growing sweet potato vines in the spring from supermarket sweet potatoes but how do I get the dark colored variety I've seen in catalogs, can these be started the same way? |
| The darker and variegated varieties are are essentially started the same as sweet potatoes grown for vegetables would be, but since they are special varieties grown only for the foliage you would not chance across them at the grocery store. |
