Is Sept. 12 or 13 too late to plant Oregon sugar peas? I live in the northeast part of NY state--50 miles NE of Albany, New York.

Probably. The way to figure it out is this: take the average days to maturity and add 10 to that to allow for the slowing of the season. Calculate backwards from your average first frost date to get your approximate latest planting date.
