The Q&A Archives: Cutting Back Russian Sage

Question: Do I need to cut my Russian sage plants severely back? Thank you. David Gustafson Hugoton, KS

Answer: Cut back your Russian sage only to the eliminate the dead growth or to stimulate some lush, new growth off the woody stems. I recommend don't mess with success-- if it made it through the winter okay, then it's happy!!
