I live in California and have a few cannas plants in our front yard. I was wondering if there was anything I needed to do for them in the winter time like pruning them down. |
Cannas are perfectly suited to your gardening region and can remain in the ground all year long. Keep the spent flowers cut off and cut the foliage down to soil level after all flower clusters have bloomed. In the spring new foilage will appear, followed by new flowering stems. |
