I have had great success with this squash. As I have a lot of them for later use, how do I store them? And for how long?

Spaghetti squash is considered a winter squash and keeps for months. It should be harvested when it turns a solid color and the rind becomes hard. Allow it to ripen on the vine but be sure to harvest before frost. Cut the stem 2-3" from the vine to help it store better. Also let it cure for a few weeks in a cool place such as a basement for a few weeks before eating. Storage will be longest if the squash is kepton the cool side -- actual time will depend on the storage conditions so check them about once a week to make sure they are okay. Enjoy your squash!
