I was given a shrub by a co-worker. She thought the name of it is a minuet wiegand. I'm wondering how to care for the shrub - ie - full or partial sun, fertilizing, flowering habits, type of soil. I'm not sure about the spelling of the name. She said it has small pink flowers.

Thanks!

Not much to go on, but my crystal ball provides a potential identity for your plant: Weigela florida 'Minuet', a dwarf (2'-3') shrub with purplish leaves and funnel-shaped flowers of a pink and purple blend. If this is your plant, it will thrive in full sun to partial shade, in average soil. Supply regular water during the growing season and cut the stems back after flowering to promote the production of new flowering wood.
