| I'd like to put in a low groundcover on a moderately steep slope in my yard. We're near the ocean, so we get a lot of fog (not too much sunshine). I need something that will prevent erosion and would prefer something that flowers. |
| Groundcovers that perform well in partial shade in your gardening zone include Corydalis, Kenilworth Ivy, Epimedium, Sweet Woodruff, Lamium (Dead Nettle), Pachysandra and Redwood Sorrel. Each of these has a short blooming cycle, and all are reasonably low-growing. |
