Ornamental Cabbage/Kale - Knowledgebase Question

Should ornamental cabbage and ornamental kale be planted in full sunlight or shade. I don't know anything about these plants and would appreciate any other info you can give me about their planting and care.

These plants are used as cool season bedding plants because they grow well in cool weather. (They fail in heat.) They like a rich soil that is moist but well drained (meaning not soggy) and do well in full sun. You might want to keep an eye out for caterpillars, but apart form that these are pretty trouble-free and great for cool season color in the garden!
