Oak trees are vigorous growers and can grow 1 1/2 - 4 feet in a single year. The growth rate depends upon growing conditions (soil, moisture, climate, exposure to sun), with the fastest growth rate under the best growing conditions.

Red maple trees are also fast growers, usually 2'-3' per year under ideal conditions.
