I have a Kumquat tree that has never been pruned. It is about 15' tall. There are at least 6 large main shoots/trunks. This is the first year I have noticed any fruit on the tree. My question is: How should I prune this, if it should be pruned at all.
Thank you

Your really don't need to prune a kumquat at all. I have grown one and only trimmed off branches that were so low they hung to the ground. A kumquat bush maintains a natural, mounded appearance even without pruning.

Good luck with your kumquat bush!
