Asimina triloba (Paw Paws) grow well in USDA zones 5-9. This small tree grows to 10' tall, with long, tropical looking leaves. It is native to, and well known in, much of the eastern U.S. Grow in partial shade to full sunshine, in average garden soil. The plants are slow to establish but grow reasonably well once they do become established in the garden.
