How fast does the Dwarf Heavenly Bamboo Grow?
FYI I am thinking to use this as a hedge. Is this a good hedge for a narrow area?

There are several dwarf varieties of Nandina (Heavenly Bamboo). 'Harbour Dwarf' grows to 1 1/2'-2', 'Nana Compacta' grows to about 4', and 'Woods Dwarf' will grow 3'-4' tall. So, depending upon which you have, you can expect growth of 1 1/2' - 4'. Nandina is a relatively slow growing plant and is generally rounded in appearance. It would make a good hedge, but a short one! Any stray stems can be pruned down to the level of the others to give the plant a neater appearance.
