The Q&A Archives: Pointella Plant

Question: Could you please tell me someing about this plant?

Answer: I wonder if you mean Potentilla? If so, these are hardy plants, useful for ground covers and borders. The leaves are bright green or gray green, divided into small leaflets. The small, mostly single flowers are rose-like in appearance, and are cream, white, bright yellow, pink or red. Most potentilla are sprawling, mounding plants to 1 1/2 ' tall and about 2' wide. They grow best in full sun to part shade and thrive in average soil with regular summer watering.
