Where can I find coxcombs to plant--seeds or plants, care, needs, etc?

I assume you are referring to cockscomb or celosia. Burpee offers several types of seeds in different colors. Search under celosia on the web site, or call 1-800-888-1447 to request a catalog.

They take full sun and little water once established. They don't like cold temperatures, thus sow seeds in spring after the soil has warmed. They prefer a rich organic soil. Keep seedbed evenly moist to promote germination in 8-10 days. Good luck!
