Blue Lake Pole beans should be planted 1" deep and 2"-3" apart along the bottom of a trellis or other support. Seeds will germinate in 8-16 days at soil temperatures of 60F to 85F degrees. Be sure to keep the soil moist until the seedlings appear, then supply water as required to keep the beans thriving. Beans have shallow roots and may require 1/4" of water per day during warm weather.
