The Q&A Archives: Causes for Browalia Turning Yellow

Question: When I plant browalia they usually look good for a short time. The leaves will then begin to turn yellow with brown spots and fall off. What causes this? Lois Johnson Bristol,WI

Answer: It could be a number of things effecting your browalia. Too much water, white flies, aphids, not enough sun and poor fertility all can lead to yellow leaves. I'd say cut back on watering, give it a does of liquid fertilizer such as Miracle Gro, make sure its in full sun and check for any insects.
