The Q&A Archives: Holes In The Leaves Of My Chinese Lanterns

Question: My chinese lanterns have little holes in all their leaves. What can I do to get rid of this?

Answer: Based on your description I am not sure what has made the holes, but in my experience it is usually not necessary to do anything about foliage damage this late in the growing season. You might want to be extra careful to clean up, remove, and destroy any debris from the plant after you get a hard freeze. This will minimize the chance of any carry over problems to next year.
