Could you please tell me how late in the fall Rose of Sharon can be planted?

If the shrub (Hybiscus syriacus) is growing in a pot, you could plant it up until the ground is frozen although sooner is of course better. As usual, be sure the plant is well watered ahead of time and then water it in well and mulch around it with several inches of organic mulch such as shredded bark. If however you are thinking of transplanting one, I would suggest you wait until early spring.
