I live in central Florida and need to know how and when to prune Ixora Plants. They seem to have flowers most of the year.

Ixora seldom requires major pruning if kept in decent shape. A light shearing periodically can keep the plant in a good dense hedge form. If more drastic pruning is required, I suggest you wait until the end of the winter season and do the pruning then. That way it will quickly regrow and begin blooming again with the onset of warmer weather.
