| I keep reading about adding leafmold to the soil. What is it? I live in an area surrounded by trees, so the leaf supply is plentiful and I do shred them and use them. If leafmold is something different than this, I would like to make it. What is the process? |
| Leafmold is aged, rotted leaves. Shredding them and keeping them slightly moist speeds up the process, but there isn't really any secret to making it -- pile them up and wait! |
