I just planted a navel orange tree. The rainy season has not started. How often do I water this tree? The tree is 3 feet tall.

Citrus trees thrive on constant moisture, so apply enough water each week to thoroughly soak the root mass. Usually one-inch of water per week will suffice. To keep water from evaporating too quickly, mulch over the root area with gravel or small stones. This will also help suppress weeds.

Hope your tree provides you with abundant fruit when it's older!
