Now that fall is here, should I cut back my Blazing Stars or just let them go at their height over the winter? I would also like to transplant them to a different location in my garden, when is the best time to do that?

Liatris can be cut back in the fall after frost has killed back the tops or as part of the spring clean up. In my experience it is better to move them in early spring or early fall rather than late fall. Be sure to take a rather large rootball when you move each one as they can be a bit difficult to transplant.
