What are the best kinds of vegetables and plants to grow at the beginning of winter. In Tulsa, Oolahoma it is usually about 30 degrees in the morning and gets up to about 65 degrees in the afternoon.

Late season gardens are usually planted in late summer to early fall so that the plants do most of their growing before the weather turns cold. If you are using a poly house or floating row covers or garden blankets (or a cold frame) you might easily be able to grow salad and other greens and cole crops next fall and winter.
