A friend of mine gave me a lot of different kinds of hot peppers. What is the best way to save for future use?

Chili peppers dry easily. Hang them in direct sun in a dry location. (You can use a needle and heavy string/wire to poke through the top of the chili or the stem to make a "ristra" if you have enough peppers.) Hang the ristra in your kitchen or store the dried peppers in a cool, dry environment or closed container. Enjoy some spicy food!
