I have a Ficus tree next to the foundation to my home. Will the roots from this tree/bush compromise/damage the integrity of the home foundation?

Unlike the invasive/aggressive roots of many other trees, ficus roots are not generally considered a threat to sidewalks, driveways or foundations. As a matter of fact the trees are often recommended for entryway and patio plantings. Expect a full grown ficus to reach 30' in height. You can keep it smaller with annual pruning, and can even trim it into a hedge, rather than allow it to grow into a 30' tree.
