The Q&A Archives: Best Time to Transplant Citrus

Question: When is the best time to transplant an orange tree in Florida? It's about 4 or 5 years old. About 5 feet tall. It's actually a tangerine I think. Bob Knickerbocker Sebring, FL

Answer: The best time to transplant your tangerine tree in Florida is late winter/early spring (February), but citrus are so tough, that if you transplanted now, they probably would do fine.
