Question: What is best bush, shrub, tree to plant is wet soil? I am looking for something that grows quickly, 12 - 15 feet high maximum height. Mike Fabian Buffalo, NY

Answer: There are a number of wet soil choices for trees and shrubs. Willows, silver maple and poplars all do well in wet soil. For something smaller, try shrubs such as viburnum and grey dogwood. Check your local nursery for other ideas that would work in your situation.
