I have planted some Showy Stonecrop-Autumn Joy in front of my house. What do I do with them for the winter so that will come back next year?

This is one of the easiest plants to care for. Some gardeners will trim this plant back by removing the flowering stems in the late fall once the flowers have faded. If you like the look of the flower heads as they age, leave them in place until spring. You might mulch around the base of the plant with several inches of a natural mulch such as shredded bark. That's it.
