While we we on vacation we were in a store that sold hand made hammocks. The salesperson said that the best way to hang a hammock in a tree is to screw large eyebolts into the trees. Is this really safe?? We want to put the hammock under the large oak trees we have in the yard. What is the best way to do this that won't harm our trees? Thanks. |
I suppose the safest way would be to set some posts in the ground at the best intervals for hanging the hammock and catching shade at the hottest part of the day. This way you can also make sure there are no rocks or stumps directly beneath it and that there is a safe and convenient path to it. |
