How much should I water my 8 inch sequoia tree seedling? The leaves/needles are turning brown.

This tree prefers a humid environment and requires an acid soil that is moist yet well drained. (This means it should be damp but not soggy.) The best way to check is to dig down into the soil with your finger; the browning could be a sign of either too much or too little water.
