The Q&A Archives: Blueberries

Question: What blueberries will grow in Southern California. I would like to order a bush but wasn't sure what climate they can adapt too.

Answer: Because of your mild climate your selection is limited, but blueberries can be successfully grown in your region. Choose Sharpblue, an early spring bearing blueberry that does not need a pollinator. If you have room for more than one plant, Bluebelle and Southland will pollinate each other.
